Lisa Lambe, is an acclaimed international artist , and one of Ireland’s best-known singer, songwriters, actors and folklorists. Described by the Irish Times as “The finest singer and actor of her generation”, and by PBS, USA as “Inspirational”. Irish Music Magazine declared “Lisa Lambe is a major Irish voice and ballad singer. A stylish songwriter with a sound that is original and enduring”.
She has released 4 albums and releases weekly demos, recordings and ideas/ works in progress on her online artists digital studio on Patreon.
She was recently named Rough Trade’s Rising Star. Hotpress said: “truly beautiful voice, sumptuous and shines brightly”. The Sunday Independent described her songwriting as “Songwriting Joni Mitchell would be proud of”.
Lisa’s first album, ‘Hiding Away’ was recorded in Nashville with producer Gavin Murphy and was RTÉ Radio One Album of the Week. Her second acclaimed album, ‘Juniper’, was written in the west of Ireland and recorded at Attica Studios in County Donegal, with producer Karl Odlum.
Juniper was Album of the Week for the BBC and described as an “absolute standout”.
Lisa describes her album of 2022 “Wild Red’ as being “made by the fireside, written in the quiet, inspired by old stories, local lore, current landscapes and new states of mind…”.
Based on her work with the National Folklore Collection and her recent M.A in Irish Folklore, internationally acclaimed Irish folk singer, songwriter, performer and folkorist Lisa Lambe now brings us her new brand project ‘NightVisiting’, first commissioned by The National Famine Museum in Strokestown, County Roscommon. Lisa collaborates with renowned traditional musicians alongside local contributors to create a unique performance bespoke to each venue she visits. Nightvisiting continues in 2025 and is gaining Nationwide coverage and success.

Nightvisiting on tour continues in 2025 alongside Lisa’s other original show Mamó: Songs my Grandmother gave me also tours in 2025.
